Over on TeamFortress2Fort.com, Scorch posted a screen shot of the first kill with a reflected flare (that I've seen anyway). What makes it even better is that it was the pyro who shot the flare that he killed. In other words: a pyro shot a flare at him at the exact moment he used his "compression blast" (he was also pyro), so the flare was sent back and hit it's sender, who then died.

Back when I was in college (2001-2002), a friend of mine showed me an operating system that boots off a stiffy disk. Now I know you get single-stiffy-disk sized linux distros, but this isn't a command-line operating system... it has a full colour interface, with transparency, can run multiple applications, etc. Anyway, at the time it was rather impressive. So I decided to Google it the other day, and found that the project's still going (and it's still only 1 stiffy disk big), and has had lots of extra functionality added.

Blizzard announced Diablo 3 today, at their "Worldwide Invitational". The official Diablo 3 website has also gone live, and has all the relevant information about the game, as well as a 19 minute long gameplay video! It seems good old Deckard Cain is still around, yabbering away as always. Did I mention the terrain (walls/pillars/etc) are destructable? While the interface looks very similar to Diablo 2's, it's been changed to make it easier to switch between skills and abilities.
